On April 22nd Zoran Zivkovic opened The Second New Belgrade Book Fair.

The New Belgrade Book Fair, officially opened by Zoran Zivkovic on April 22nd, displayed an exhibition of all his Serbian and foreign languages prose books. In 13 showcases there is a total of 102 various editions…

Following the great success of The Last Book, the Italian publisher TEA decided to proceed bringing out Zoran Zivkovic’s books with the 2003 World Fantasy Award winning mosaic-novel The Library. The book is scheduled to appear in January 2011. Another massive promotional campaign is expected.

The Eulama Literary Agency has sold the Brazilian rights in Zoran Zivkovic’s best-selling novel The Last Book to the São Paulo based Editora Octavo Ltda for publication in October 2010.

Here are covers of the Kurodahan Press (Japan) English language editions of Zoran Zivkovic’s books. The five book set will be published by the end of March.

After the initial print-run of 10,000 copies of the Italian edition of The Last Book is nearly sold out in just over a month, it’s publisher, TEA, is about to reprint the book. The Last Book was on the bestseller list for three consecutive weeks in February and got numerous very favorable reviews in the Italian media.

Zoran Zivkovic’s new collection of essays, On Genre and Writing, will be published by “Zavod” in early April. The English translation is not yet available.

A NEW SERIES OF EXQUISITE TALES BY ZORAN ZIVKOVIC

In 2010 Kurodahan Press is publishing the first collection of Zoran Zivkovic’s stories in Japanese, offering three of his finest works in a single introductory volume for the Japanese audience: “The Fire,” “Hole in the Wall,” and “The Teashop.”
